Painting for sale

I now have one painting for sale - or I can paint/draw something special for you, contact me or leave a comment...

SOLD - Painting for sale - SOLD

My Tulip Painting was sold.

When I was taking photos of tulips (while preparing for a commissioned Painting) I took approximately 60-70 photos of tulips - so she could choose the right painting for her house. I came up with two photos where I loved the composition. Susan chose the photo where the flowers were wide-open, looking very summer-ish. I knew that at some point I wanted to paint the other photo...

I wanted a painting to take with me on the train to Jasper, being part of the ARTIST ON RAILS promotion. I didn't manage to get it finished before the trip but was able to bring it along with me to work on - when I wasn't busy drawing caricatures. I had just a bit more painting left to finish, when I got back. Yes, it's done and it is for-sale...

It looks great on my mantel but as usual, since I picked art as my living, I must put it up for sale.

  • The size is 24 inches x 30 inches.

  • For sale asking $400.

  • The colour in this photo of the Tulip Painting is pretty close to being the painting's true colours (remember everyones computer is slightly different). If you're interested, you can borrow it to see if it fits in your home well. Until then, I will simply enjoy it, until it has a new home!

Mural for the Laugh Shop on Whyte Ave

A mural for The Laugh Shop, at their new location 2nd floor at 103rd and Whyte Avenue in Edmonton. The mural is of people laughing and a few comedians. See if you recognize a couple locals: someone from Perugia Salon & Spa and someone from Chili's, two of the neighbouring businesses! The mural was painted in acrylic paints with anti-graffiti coverage.

    Drawing Charactures

It was a great Canada Day. I spent the day drawing charactures in Drayton Valley AB.

There were a lot of people and different events (bands, face painting, art sales, penny carnival....) It was a nice drive out and the weather was great.

I was drawing charactures for four hours, I never count how many I do - but there were a lot, mostly children and teens. It was cute to draw brothers/sisters or friends together.

    two Portraits from photos

I just completed two portraits both were done from a photo. The man's portrait was completed from an old photo that was torn, discoloured and damaged. The painting of the woman was done from a black and white photo and was requested to be painting all in pinks.
